

About Iliana
Born in Amatitán, Jalisco. Iliana Partida Rivera grew up surrounded by agave fields
cultivated by her family for generations. From an early age, she learned from her
parents, the value of hard work, patience, and pride in transforming the agave plant
into Mexico’s most iconic spirit.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from UVM and specialized training as a Master Tequilera from UAG, Iliana has successfully blended business vision with artisanal expertise. Her mission is clear: to preserve the soul of tequila while positioning it with excellence in international markets.

Starting from the very heart of production, Iliana learned every step of the process
until becoming CEO of Tequilera Hacienda de Oro, where she has led a new era of
growth, innovation, and sustainability. Under her leadership, the company has
achieved major milestones: ESR Certification (Socially Responsible Company),
The “Hecho en México” Certification, Medals at the San Francisco World Spirits
Competition and CMB.
Iliana is the creator and driving force behind several of the distillery’s most emblematic brands: Tequila Amatitense, a tribute to her hometown and the birthplace of tequila, El Último Agave, inspired by the family’s enduring promise to always have “the last agave” to share with their people, Hacienda de Oro, a refined expression of excellence, heritage, and craftsmanship.

Beyond her leadership in production, Iliana has played a key role in promoting agave
tourism and regional development through cultural events like the Carrera del
Agave which strengthen community identity and generate economic growth in
Amatitán.
