| About | Andrea Calderón was born in Guadalajara, México. The renowned city for its rich cultural heritage and pivotal role in the country’s traditions. This city is the birthplace of mariachi music and tequila, two iconic symbols of Mexican identity. This helped Andrea feel very proud of her roots, since she arrived to Europe, 12 years ago. Additionally, her mother is from Jalisco highlands region, specifically from Arandas, the city where many tequila factories are established. She shares her memories of her childhood, when she was playing in the red soil, next to the agave fields. She transmits the love and passion every time she talks about agave distillates and tequila. |
| Bio | Entrepreneur by heart and marketing expert, she studied International Business at Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara, having a postgraduate as Tequila Technician, among other courses in marketing and sales. Having lived in some counties such as Mexico, Ireland, UK, Netherlands, Spain and Poland, she had the opportunity to experience different cultures, and travel to 30+ countries in 4 continents. This helped her shape her international perspective, and identify spirits business needs. Together with her husband, she co-founded the platform Master Distillers, with the purpose to connect brands, people, and venues. |
