Tequila producer Grand Mayan has extended its range with the launch of a reposado expression.

The new 100% blue agave Tequila has been aged in American and French oak casks for six to eight months.

Bottled at 40% abv, the reposado is described as having notes of oak and chocolate followed by a layered and long finish.

It is packaged in a hand-painted cobalt blue bottle that features 14-carat gold leaf lettering and embellishments.

Grand Mayan Reposado joins Grand Mayan Ultra Aged Tequila and Grand Mayan Silver Tequila in the brand’s portfolio. Grand Mayan Silver is slowly distilled three times, while Grand Mayan Ultra Aged is a blend of Tequilas aged for three, four and five years in American and French oak casks.

Grand Mayan Reposado Tequila is available through Boston-based importer and distributor MS Walker in the US. It has an RRP of US$79.99 per 750ml.
